This past Wednesday, my dear friend Lisa and her little guy Nicholas met Lilly and me at the Columbus Zoo for a day of fun and catching up! It was a gorgeous day-- the kids were happy to be outside riding in their strollers and people watching, while the mommies were gloriously happy to be out and about socializing and not couped up in the house! We really didn't even care if we saw any animals, but we lucked out and saw plenty, including lots of babies!
I'm so fortunate to have my friendship with Lisa and to be able to experience mommyhood together. She teaches me to see things in ways I wouldn't always figure out on my own. Most importantly, she's always there when I need her and when we're together we laugh like crazy.
